Bishop Marc is fluent in five languages: Dutch, English, French, German and Spanish; lived in seven countries: Belgium, Germany, France,  USA, Malta, Spain and Switzerland and has studied at the University of Utah, University of Ghent and the University of Leuven. He has taught Dance Therapy, English and Dutch for French speaking migrants in Brussels and Fitness Weight Lifting classes for Sportnet in Ghent; holding Certificates for Aerobics Instructor and Clogging Instructor too. He has also taught a course for Tourist Entertainers for the VDAB in Belgium in Ghent.

Marc Croux, De Jonge RitusHe was born into a Roman Catholic family but joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 16 and was later ordained in both the Aaronic and Melchisedek Priesthood. After his Humaniora Scientific graduation in 1979, he served in the military in the NATO forces in Germany. After two years of serving in LDS Church in France, he returned to Belgium, married and left for the USA to study Modern Dance under Anne Riordan at the University of Utah. He minored in the Honours program in Astronomy. He served as a pastor at the University Hospital while there and was President of the University International Student Association. After a divorce he left the Mormon Church and became active in the local  Resurrection Metropolitan Community Church. Then, after his studies he worked for almost two decades as an entertainer mostly in Spain.

In 2006 he was invited to join the Goede Herder Gemeenschap (a Benedictine Order) after becoming involved with them in setting up the Holebikerk in Ghent. He was vested as brother by Bishop Gino and later was ordained a deacon by them in 2008 at the Saint Vincentius Chapel in Ghent. After the Holebikerk was discontinued and the community remained in Dendermonde, Br. Marc stayed as a solitary Brother in Ghent. Looking for evechial leadership, he  joined the Young Rite and was ordained Priest by the Right Reverend Markus van Alphen. His ordination took place under the Right Reverend Louise Lombard on May 24th,  2010 in the Saint Vincentius Chapel in Ghent, and his certification as Celebrant for the Young Rite took place on the 22nd of September of that same year.

Bishop Marc was consecrated to be Bishop of De Jonge Ritus at the OCAC 2022 UK & Europe synod at Wimborne Minster, Dorset UK.
